Project to prioritize allocation of MGNREGA resources for revival of atleast 20% of fallow farm lands annually for cultivation. In addition to existing MGNRE backyard vegetable cultivation initiatives, allocations of resources for Pokkali cultivation is critically needed to preserve Pokkali farming heritage.
